For a clinic the size of Bushika HC/III, it's in dire need of a vaccine fridge for newborns and infants, as it currently is forced to store vaccines off-site at another clinic. Because of this situation, the clinic can only provide vaccinations for mothers two days a week, which inconveniences mothers, especially in Bududa where many mothers work every day in order to support their families. As this is not an ideal situation for a high-functioning, high-traffic clinic whose primary patients are children and mothers, Project Bududa is looking to purchase a vaccine fridge to store critically-needed vaccines on-site and within easy reach of our clinicians.
