FIMRC is involved in educating and creating awareness on sexual and reproductive hygiene to school communities located in far outstretched villages in Kodaikanal. The main objective of the program is to help create a conducive environment for the adolescent girls to manage their periods during school hours. Most of the girls that go to these schools cannot afford to provide sanitary napkins during their menstruation. As a result, they will resort to alternative sources like rags, clothes and other unsanitary methods which can potentially lead to pelvic inflammatory diseases. Our goal is to provide ample of napkin supplies to the school so the children can access whenever needed.

FIMRC is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing modern medical care to disadvantaged families worldwide. Learn more at www.fimrc.org.
