La Esperanza secondary school is in need of refurbishments and improvements to the two student bathrooms. The objective of this project is to promote a healthy school environment, of which sanitary bathrooms are an essential component. With the renovation of the bathrooms, students will have access to a more sanitary bathroom that functions appropriately and will avoid hygiene-related diseases.

The bathroom renovation will not only improve sanitary conditions in the bathrooms and the health of the student population, but will also restore currently missing water connections. The funds will be used to purchase materials (e.g. new sink taps, new toilets, cleaning items, paint) for the bathroom renovations as well as to contract a plumber to restore the damaged connections.
