The Micro-Health Insurance Program focuses on reducing the number of preventable diseases and also improving the health of 5 families currently within the program. The program combines health education and home development projects in hopes to improve access to medical services and home-improvements that directly affect the health of the family. These health improvements come at zero financial cost to the participants attending the program. Instead it is solely based on participation and the implementation of basic hygiene practices in the home. For just $50 a month, donations will go toward home-improvement projects, specialty medical consults, medications, and quarterly exams for the 5 families currently enrolled in the program.
