Our health promoter program serves to train and support local volunteers living within rural communities in basic first aid. The health promoters have been trained in first aid and act as health resources to their communities. Occasionally the promoters run out of materials - to have their first aid kits restocked they must pass a skills-based evaluation. Health promoters also coordinate with FIMRC in other activities (such as mobile clinics) and will be trained in new skills and topics as the program progresses.
