This program is Project Restauración’s first class focusing specifically and exclusively on emotional intelligence. The class is geared toward 8 – 10 year olds and is broken into ten classes ranging from self-esteem to stress management and conflict resolution. The idea was initiated by our health educator and was developed by two SIHF fellows under her direction. Project Restauración plans to pilot the program first in town before scaling up and implementing throughout the municipality. Each student will receive his/her own workbook to use throughout the program and a diploma upon successful completion of the course.
