Due to low calcium level in the drinking water, predominant group of population is suffering from dental issues such as fluorosis and dental caries. The cost of dental treatment procedure is so expensive that prevents the rural population from accessing dental treatment leading to severe periodontal problems. During routine health check-ups, it was noted that most of the pre-school (crèche) children have poor oral hygiene and needed treatment on a regular basis. Lack of awareness and poor access to treatment can be fixed by setting up a rural dental clinic.
