FIMRC provides multiple medical support systems for children who attend crèches. Each of the four crèches is visited weekly to assess any malnourished or sick children identified by the teachers, or parents who bring in their children. In addition to the evaluation, FIMRC provides medications to the child’s family and to the teachers to properly address the illness. Common diagnoses include coughs or colds, dermatological diseases, and dental cavities. This Adopt-a-Project will help supplement the medications already provided by FIMRC and better address lower priorities of health that cannot otherwise be resolved.
